A lot of my posts are friends-locked.
Friends is a funny word to use for this. It should be something like Bumblebee level clearance. Anyway, if you think something I've said is amusing or interesting, let me know and I'll probably make you a Bumblebee too. |

Any caveman with an itch in his ear canal would be wise to leave it alone rather than shove in a branch and wiggle it around. We, however, have Q-Tips. So that's something right there. |

It occurs to me that since we've all got immediate access to movie quotes, book excerpts, etc., the hallmark of actually knowing a particular bit of information is relaying it just a little bit wrong. |

Mighty Mendit has given my leather belt new life. The flap that holds the tongue and loop had nearly unstitched, worrying me greatly, and then I saw THE INFOMERCIAL.
Dries crystal clear! Stays strong after 5 washes!
I didn't buy it, but the reminder that I could just use glue to fix it was very welcome. |

It seems to be Tuesday outside. If we sit tight and try not to attract any attention, we might make it through. |

Have any of you made the jump from iTunes to another music manager?
I stole my wife's 3rd generation iPod Nano, which needs the newer iTunes 7.6, which will not run on my Windows 2000 computer.
Winamp, Media Monkey, I don't know. I guess I'm mostly worried about having to spend hours I don't have re-organizing my files. And crap! I ripped most of my music to AAC, not MP3. |

Click, said the Fairpoint DSL billing woman, in response to my chuckling "but they all do," when she replied "ours updates every 4 hours," to my query as to why their Internet Security package costs more per year than McAfee's comparable product on Amazon.
Now searching for comparable DSL deals in southern NH. Huh. Earthlink isn't answering their phones due to "technical difficulty." That bodes for sure. |

Free coffee this morning at the corner gas station. Guy saw my full travel mug and nothing else, stepped back from the counter and said "Have a nice day." Isn't that a wonderful phrase? Let's say it again. Free coffee. Mmmm.
Instead of "Good morning," we should say "May free coffee come to you this morning," or "Free coffee to you," or just plain "Free coffee, sir or madam."
I wondered if we might need an alternative for the noncafe minority - Breatharians and such - but we really don't. We say Bless you to sneezers regardless of their personal theisms, be they predestinatory Calvinists or perhaps adherents of a standoffish "Watchmaker God" construct, on whom benedictions are wasted. They've learned to deal, and so will the tea-folk.
So free coffee, my friends, free coffee. |

I don't really think that Bristol Palin, Sarah Palin's daughter, is faking her pregnancy in order to "prove" that the four month old baby in the family is not hers but her mother's.
But seriously, though, can I please have a clear picture of a pregnant Governor? |
